It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Michael Haas announces his passing on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the age of 69 years.

Brent's Cove, NL; mother, Lucy Haas, Baie Verte, NL; siblings, special sister, Rose Tilley, Brent's Cove, NL, Violet Matthews (Gerard), Hinton, AB, Selina MacDougall (Brian), Angus, ON, Bernice Curtis, Leduc, AB, Clarence Haas (Glenda), Brent's Cove, NL, Hilda Sullivan (Paul), Brent's Cove, NL, Darren Haas (Carolyn), Dartmouth, NS, Vincent Haas Jr., Brent's Cove, NL and Diane Snow (Lee), Orleans, ON; mother-in-law, Golda Ward, Springdale, NL; siblings-in-law, Gerald Ward, Halifax, NS, Geraldine Gourley (Jerry Parsons), NS, Ida Skinner (Walter), Springdale, NL, Nancy Ward (Shannon Clance), La Scie, NL and Lisa Ward, Fort McMurray, AB; special friends and brothers-in-law, Corey Ward (Terri-Lynn Boone), La Scie, NL and Troy Ward, Halifax, NS, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Donald is predeceased by his father, Vincent Haas Sr.; sister, Vera Haas; father-in-law, Lloyd Ward; brothers-in-law, Barry Tilley, Al Brown and Sandy Ward; special friends, Bert Haas Jr. and Eugene Haas.

Public visitation took place from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent's Cove, NL on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.

Father Camillus Ekedobe conducted the Mass of Christian Burial from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent's Cove, NL on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Cremation will follow and burial will take place at a later date.

At the request of the family, masks are to be worn at all times during the visitation and funeral service.
