It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Derek Paul David Stroud announces his passing surrounded by his family at his residence in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 58 years.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Evelina Stroud; beloved children, Zachary (Andrea), Matthew, Samara(Jeremy) and Chyenne; treasured grandchildren, Sandy and Isabella; cherished sisters and brothers, Raymond, Baxter, Terry, Gary, Dale, Betty, Peggy, Christina, Judy, Sharon, Deborah, Cynthia, Brenda, and Bonny; as well as many cousins, much loved nephews and nieces.

He is predeceased by his parents, Albert (Bert) and Ivy Stroud; brothers, Albert, Gordon, John, and Leonard; sister, Jenny.

Derek will be remembered for his strong faith in which guided him throughout his life.  He will be dearly missed by all who remember his contagious smile and easy humour.

In keeping with the COVID-19 guidelines the visitation and funeral service will remain private for family.
