With a heavy heart I share that Dennis Power, my husband and best friend has passed away at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on February 13, 2026.
Leaving to mourn are his loving wife of 42 years, Bernadette; two sons, Mark and Dennis Jr; grandchildren, Samantha, Justin, & Nigel; brothers, Don (Gene), & Tom (Carrie); nieces & nephews, Tina, Deb, Stephen, Katherine, Tina, Terry Jr., Brian, David, & Heather; great-nephew Ryan; sister-in-law, Shirley; niece, Michelle (Travis) Clarke (Victoria & Chloe); sisters-in-law, Mary Power, Elizabeth Power, Carrie Power, & Jean Power.
Dennis is predeceased by his parents, John and Dorothy Power; Brothers, Allan, John, & Terry; sister-in-law, Edwina; parents-in-law, Edward and Clotilda Lee.
The public visitation will take place Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, February 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 8 A Church Road, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Union Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
