It is with broken hearts that the family of the late David William Gillis announces his passing from his family residence in Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, aged 63 years.

David will be forever remembered by his son, Liam; siblings, Donald Gillis, Deborah Clarke (Sid) and Darren Gillis; niece, Robyn (Tyler); nephews, Robert and Ian; mother of his son, Krista Elliott, as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.

David is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Loretta Gillis; grandparents, John and Clare Gillis, William and Margaret Gabriel.

Cremation has taken place.

A public visitation will take place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 2-5 pm.

There will be no funeral service and a committal will take place at a later date.
