It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Cyril Bowers announces his passing from the Copper Crescent Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL, on Sunday, January 14, 2024, aged 89 years.

Left with a lifetime of memories is his wife, Jean Rice Bowers; children, Ernest (Jessie), Annie and Raymond; step-children, Wanda (Roland), Wavey (Terry), Christine (Eric) and Kevin (Donna); 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren; siblings-in-law, Bill (Joy), Keith, Ronald (Elaine), Velma and Lindsey, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Cyril is predeceased by his parents, John and Annie Bowers; step-daughter, Paula Jean Rice; siblings, Marie (Philip), Shirley (Gordon), Pierce (Phyllis), Raymond (Audrey), Elmo and Betty (Roland); siblings-in-law, Ruda (Stanley), Verna (Allan), Vivian (Ross), Frazer and Gerald Dalley.

The public visitation will take place from St. Swithin's Anglican Church, Seal Cove, NL on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.

The funeral service will take place from St. Swithin's Anglican Church, Seal Cove, NL on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 1 pm, with Reverend Nancy Hulan officiating. Interment will follow from St. Swithin's Anglican Cemetery.
