It is with deep sorrow that the family of the late Cynthia "Cynt" Mary (Walsh) Lewis announces her sudden passing. Cynthia passed away at her family home in Fleur de Lys, NL on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at the age of 69 years.

Cynthia was well known in the community and known for her loving and helpful attitude. She always called it like she saw it...no holds barred, but this made her more endearing to all who knew her. She will be sadly missed by all!

Predeceased by her husband - John (Jack) Lewis; parents - John & Bertha Walsh; siblings - Leonce Walsh (Joe), Gordon Walsh and George Walsh; brother-in-law - Pat Barker and nieces - Carol Walsh and Samantha Walsh.

Left to cherish a lifetime of beautiful memories is her sons - Rodney Downey and Marshall Walsh; daughter - Michelle Hewitt (John); grandsons - Christopher and Taylor; great-granddaughter - Donovan; siblings - Theresa Walsh, Ann Mackey (Ambrose), Donna Barrett (John), Eileen Fitzpatrick, Evelyn Walsh, Kenneth Walsh, John Walsh; siblings-in-law - Clo Walsh and Millie Walsh as well as large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the Public Health Advisory and associated restrictions, we regret to announce that there will be no Public Visitation or Public Funeral Service. Father Camillus Ekedobe will conduct a Private Family graveside service at a later date.
