It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Corwin James Norman announces his passing from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, aged 59 years.

Corwin was born in Springdale, NL on May 24, 1964, to Harvey and Ruby Norman. Corwin married the love of his life, Debbie Sacrey on November 29, 1986. Together they had two boys, Trent and Terry.

Corwin loved and adored his wife and boys. He worked hard to provide for his family. He devoted his life to his family and church to whom he was involved with the Crusades, Men's Fellowship, and a musician. He also spent time devoted to the Town of Pacquet as a fire fighter, even when he wasn't well, he attended the meetings. He worked in the fish plant in Pacquet, he also worked in PEI, and as a fisherman up until his illness.

Corwin loved the outdoors, moose hunting, turr hunting, going on skidoo, cutting wood, berry picking with his berry picker. He also loved going out in his boat, going to the cabin and camping during the summer.

Corwin will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.

Left with precious memories are his wife of 37 years, Debbie Norman; sons, Trent Norman and Terry Norman; mother, Ruby Norman; brothers, Craig Norman (Connie), Carlson Norman (Cathy) and Corey Norman (Megan); mother-in-law, Edna Sacrey; siblings-in-law, Bruce Sacrey (Brenda Blackwood), John Sacrey (Janice), Eunice Gillingham (Dale) and Cecil Sacrey (Jodi Martin), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Corwin is predeceased by his father, Harvey Norman; grandparents, Willis and Emily Norman & John and Marjorie Greenham; father-in-law, Robert Sacrey; sister-in-law, Judy Sacrey.

Public visitation will take place from Harvest Time Pentecostal Assembly, Pacquet, NL on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.

The funeral service will take place from Harvest Time Pentecostal Assembly, Pacquet, NL on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 1 pm, with Pastor Keith Simms officiating. Interment will follow from Harvest Time Pentecostal Cemetery, Pacquet, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Corwin's memory to the the Pacquet Fire Brigade.

Corwin's family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors and nurses from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, and the Cancer Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor for their amazing care during Corwin's illness.
