Grand Falls-Windsor

Obituary

It is with sadness that the family of the late Clifford Laite announces his passing at the Carmelite Palliative Care Unit, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 71 years.

Cliff was the one you would call if you needed your chainsaw fixed or really anything with a motor. If could not fix it, he would find someone that could.  He was loyal and hard working.

He loved a good laugh, and cared deeply for those he loved, took pride in his work; especially his 28 years as a logger at t Abitibi-Price Paper Mill; a career he was so proud of. In the woods was his favorite place to be.  Some of his best memories were at his cabin.

Cliff cherished and doted over his beautiful wife of 45 years, Linda. Together they raised two children, Andrew (Courtney) and their two daughters, Lilah & Brielle; Christa (Keith)( and their two children, Nathan & Chole.  Also leaving behind siblings, Allen (Shirley) & Roy (Dale).

Cliff is predeceased by his parents, Edmond & Katherine Laite; siblings, Gordon Laite, Terry Laite, & Phyllis Laite.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.  All services will remain private for the family.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
