It is with immense sorrow that the family of the late Clarence Sacrey announces his passing from Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the age of 93 years.

Clarence was born in Pacquet, NL to Mary and William Sacrey on December 24, 1928. He met and married the love of his life, Margaret Bath. Together they raised two children, Howard and Una. During these years, he worked in the lumber woods, Rambler Mines and then on to fishing. After his retirement he took pride in making outdoor crafts and casting nets as a hobby.

Clarence had a gentle, caring spirit and had compassion for everyone. He loved the Lord and his family dearly. He was one of the forerunners of the Harvest Time Pentecostal Assembly in Pacquet. He attended this church faithfully throughout the years, even up to Easter Sunday, prior to his passing.

His fervent prayers for his family, friends and church congregation will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are his wife, Margaret Sacrey; children, Howard Sacrey (Sharon) and Una Norman; grandchildren, Derwin Norman (Heather), Deena Randell (Brad), Daylan Norman, Danielle Norman (Caleb), Ronica Sacrey, Tasha Norman (Blair), Jenna Sacrey and Philip Sacrey (Adrienne); great-grandchildren, Taylor, Paige, Zayden, Bree, Jonah, Cash, Jhett, Lina, Reece, Parker and Clare; siblings, Melissa Parsons (Carl), Charlie Sacrey and Mabel Brent; siblings-in-law, Annie Sacrey, Augustus Burton, Edna Sacrey, Shirley Norman, Howard Bath (Georgina) and Ralph Bath (Rita), as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Clarence is predeceased by his parents, William and Mary Sacrey, son-in-law, Gord Norman; infant siblings, Willie, Derrick and Allan Sacrey; siblings, Lucy Warrick (Raymond), Gilbert Sacrey (Herma), Augustus Sacrey, Ivy Burton (Harry) and Frank Sacrey (Margaret); parents-in-law, Dawe and Daisy Bath; siblings-in-law, Shirley Sacrey, Gilbert Brent, Herb Bath (Bernice), Fanny Sacrey (Andrew), Verna Hamlyn (Clarence, Ford Norman, Gertie Burton and Ralph Sacrey.

Public visitation took place from Harvest Time Pentecostal Assembly, Pacquet, NL on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm.

The funeral service took place from Harvest Time Pentecostal Assembly, Pacquet, NL on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2pm with Pastor Keith Simms officiating. Interment followed at Harvest Time Pentecostal Cemetery, Pacquet, NL.
