It is with great sadness that the family of the late Christopher James Sampson announces his passing at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 57 years.

Chris leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers, Paul (Laura), Norm (Mary); sisters, Donna (Wally), Debbie (Bruce); nephews, Darren, Jason, Cole; nieces, Glenda, Mellissa, Michelle; girlfriend, Tanya; special friend, Joanne Gill; plus a large circle of friends & family.

Chis is predeceased by his parents, Norman & Margaret Sampson; brothers, Glenn & Edmund.

Chris was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time cutting wood, spending time with his buddies at the cabin & firing up the woodstove. Even if he wasn't at the cabin, he enjoyed passing his time with his friends. Above all, Chris loved his family, cherished the time spent together & the memories they made & shared, will never be forgotten.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.

The public visitation will take place Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024 at 2-4 & 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will take place Friday, November 1, 2024 at 11 am from the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 8A Church Road, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Union Street Cemetery, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL
