With broken hearts, the family of Christina Davis announces the passing of our dear mother at her home in Baie Verte on November 2nd, 2025 at the age of 88 yrs.

Born in Bear Cove, Christina later made her home in Baie Verte, where she spent most of her married life with her devoted husband, Edward Davis. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter and family.

Christina was a homemaker whose heart and home were always open. Her table was always full, and her heart was always giving. She was always happiest when surrounded by her family - her children and grandchildren were truly her life. Her kindness, laughter, and gentle strength will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She found beauty in simple things: a warm kitchen, a good laugh, and the comfort of loved ones close by. Besides raising her children, she was a caregiver to her mother and brother for many years. Her favourite colour was blue, and pink symbolized hope and love. She deeply treasured a painting called "The Stairway to Heaven" - a reflection of her gentle faith and the peace she carried in her heart.

Christina's love, kindness, and quiet strength will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Pre-deceased by husband Edward Davis, parents Abraham & Mary Jane Blanchard,  parents-in-law Arthur & Olive Davis. Twenty five great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Also leaving to mourn a large circle of family and friends. Special friends Florence Rice, Vera Boyle, Beatrice Downey, Rita Ralph and Naomi Pittman.

The public visitation will take place Wednesday, November 5th 2025, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL.

The funeral service will take place Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1PM from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Baie Verte, NL. Interment will follow from the St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.
