It is with sadness that the family of the late Chesley Howard Manuel announces his passing at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook, NL aged 85 years.

Chesley leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter, Holly (Herb) Poole; step-son, Allan (Evangeline) Benson; step-daughter, Lois (Bob) Ash; special friend, Doreen Carter; grandchildren, Erica, Joshua, Emily, Peter, & Ryan: 3 great-grandchildren; special nephew, Sam Manuel; brother, Winston (Lois) Manuel; sister, Irene Phillips; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Chesley is predeceased by his wife, Barbara; step-son, Randall Benson; parents, Edgar & Clara Manuel; brothers, Frank, Channon, Wallace, & Harry; sisters, Joan, Phyllis, Viola, & Pauline.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place.

The public visitation will take place Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Botwood Funeral Home, 147 Commonwealth Drive, Botwood, NL.

The funeral service will take place Friday, January 31, 2020 at 2 pm from Jubilee Pentecostal Temple, 28 Fernwood Drive, Botwood, NL.

The interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Botwood, NL.

As expressions of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
