Obituary

It's with a heavy heart and great sadness that the family of the late Charles John Fennimore announces the sudden passing of their loving husband/father.

Charles (Charlie) was perseverance personified having battled two heart attacks, a quadruple bypass, cancer and chemo treatments. He also exuded stoic strength, and was a source of profound and lasting wisdom for his family. His love for his family was second to none, though sometimes narrowly surpassed by his love of the Montreal Canadiens and his love for curling. He was a devoted member of the curling community in whatever city he lived in and in Newfoundland as a whole, having represented the province in the Brier of 1978. He was also an instrumental part of the Exploits Regional Curling Club, both as a member and as a junior curling coach.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Carlotta (nee White); children, Adam (Lesley) Loder, Amanda (Austin) Green, Benjamin (Courtney), Paul (Tina), Sheila, and Trina (John) Cluney; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many close family friends.

There will be no public visitation.  A private family funeral service will take place Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11 am from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
