It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecil "Ford" Thompson announces his passing surrounded by his loving family at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL aged 94 years.

Ford leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Margaret; daughters, Glenda (Rene Boutcher), Linda, Joanne (Glenn Curtis); son, Eric (Geminy Hansin); 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, William (Ruth), Wayne (Jocelyn); sisters, Jean, Patsy (Ralph Paul); brother-in-law, Ford Hancock; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

Ford is predeceased by his parents, William & Fannie Thompson; brother, Stanley; sisters, Shirley, Isabel, Berlene; sister-in-law, Faye; brothers-in-law, Edgar, Bill & Albert.

The public visitation will take place Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 2-4 & 7-9 pm from Botwood Funeral Home, 147 Commonwealth Drive, Botwood, NL.

The funeral service will take place Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 1 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, 15A Circular Road, Botwood, NL.

The interment will follow at Botwood Community Cemetery, Botwood, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
