It is with great sadness that the family of Cavell Jackman announce her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre in Botwood on December 20, 2025, at the age of 89 years.

Cavell was predeceased by her husband Patrick; son Terrence; parents Andrew and Beatrice Hayward; brother Herb (Marina); sister Viola (Frank); sister-in-law Janet; brothers-in-law John and Marshall; and granddaughter-in-law Heather.

She leaves to mourn her grandchildren: Terry, Bradley (Michelle) and Anne-Marie; great grandchildren: Chloe, Emma, Kara and Melody; dedicated friend Valance Bussey; daughter-in-law Marie; brothers: Alf, Terry (Rosalind); sisters: Joan, Vera (Merv), Valda, Fronie (Danny); along with a large number of nephews, nieces and friends.

Cavell's family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Kirby and the staff at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
