Calvin Vincent
Pardy
Jun 26, 1937 — Sep 22, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Calvin Vincent Pardy announces his passing from Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the age of 85 years.
Calvin was born on June 26, 1937 to Wilson and Elsie (Small) Pardy.
Even though Calvin did not receive a formal education, he was very well self-educated. He was blessed with a successful career in the fisheries. His hearing impairment did not hinder him from experiencing and enjoying his 85 years of life in Wild Cove. Snowmobiling, going in the woods, taking immaculate care of his property, as well as visiting and chatting with everyone in the Cove brought him much joy and satisfaction.
He was indeed a presence in his family and community and will be lovingly remembered and truly missed.
Left with loving and cherished memories are his siblings, Florence Wells, Albert Pardy (Patricia), Nellie Osbourne (Joe), Maxine Pardy, Millicent Giles (George) and Madeline Howitt (James); siblings-in-law, Jessie Pardy, Johnny Power and Claude Gavin; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Calvin is predeceased by his parents, Wilson and Elsie Pardy; brothers, Earl Pardy and Stanley Pardy; sisters, Susie Eveleigh, Shirley Pardy and Eileen Power; brothers-in-law, Woodrow Wells and Leaman Eveleigh; niece, Claudine Wells; nephews, Stanley Eveleigh, Norman Wells, Earl Gavin, Randy Pardy, Brian Gavin and Tony Wells.
