It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Bruce Rice announces his passing. Bruce passed away at his family home in Fort McMurray, AB on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the age of 65 years.

Bruce is predeceased by his parents - Lloyd and Susie Rice; father-in-law - Pearce Banks; granddaughter - Skye Rice; siblings - Roxie Bowers, Ted Rice and Larry Rice; brother-in-law and best friend - Wallace Rice and friend - Ruby Biggin.

Left to mourn and carry on his memory is his loving and devoted wife of 43 years - Judy Rice, Fort McMurray, AB; children - Tina Walsh (Keith) and Tony Rice (Margie), both of Fort McMurray, AB; loving grandchildren - Hailey Walsh, Madison Gavin, Matthew Walsh, Tiana Rice and Troy Rice; mother-in-law - Hazel Banks; siblings - Goldie Rice, Ada Best (Gary), Linda Regular (Otto) and Rick Rice (Flor); siblings-in-law - Foster Banks (Lydia), Don Bowers (Annie) and Beverly Rice; special nephew - Brandon Banks; special friends - Alvin Hollett (Tracy), Bill Webster, Justin Quilty and Dave Goodwin as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and innumerable friends.

A Celebration of Bruce's Life will take place at Seal Cove, NL in the summer of 2020. Additional Funeral Arrangement details will be announced as they become available.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Bruce's memory to St. Swithin's Anglican Church, Seal Cove, NL.
