Obituary

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Brian Edward Cooke on January 4, 2025 at the Health Science Centre in St. John's at the age of 48 years.  Born to Evelyn and Michael "Angus" Cooke, on October 6, 1976 in Botwood, Newfoundland.

Brian lived most of his life living in Fortune Harbour working on the mussel farm. He went to work in Alberta for a while, but wanted to come home and take care of his parents. Brian also had a great talent of drawing, anyone who saw his work would certainly agree. Brian's heart overflowed with love for his family. Anyone who needed a helping hand, he was there to lend it with unwavering dedication and a radiant smile. He found solace in the great outdoors, tinkering with his car or truck, and proved to be a gifted mechanic.

Left to mourn his loss are his mother, Evelyn; siblings, Shawn (Gloria), Madonna (Frazer), Bernard (Tina), Linda, Angus, Cathleen (Wayne) & Patricia. He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He is predeceased by his father Michael "Angus", & his brothers Edward & Tony.
