Beulah Agnes
Dyer
Oct 21, 1949 — Mar 20, 2024
Grand Falls-Windsor
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Beulah Agnes Dyer announces her peaceful passing from the Golden Years Estate, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, aged 74 years.
Beulah, more commonly known as Boo was born in Woodstock, NL on October 21, 1949. Her family relocated to Ming's Bight, NL when she was six years old. As a young woman she met and married Ford Dyer of La Scie, NL, where they later resided and raised four children together.
Beulah was a hard worker from in the fishing boat to the woods. Where ever you saw Ford, you saw Beulah. She loved to knit and she did a lot. She was a giver, not a taker. Whenever anyone would come to visit, want a pair of trigger mitts or socks, they could take what ever they wanted. She wore her heart on her sleeve and had a great sense of humour.
Over the past few months, due to illness, she decided to move into the Golden Years Estate in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, where she enjoyed every minute. She loved everybody and everybody loved her. Her thoughtful and giving nature will forever be remembered.
Left with fond and loving memories are her children, Ethel Seymour (Ron), Bradley Dyer (Sherrie Matthews) and Roxanne Dyer (David Drover), all of Harbour Round, NL; grandchildren, Patrick, Alex, Dominic and Barbara Ann Seymour, Shaylen, Bonnier and Emma Dyer, Tyler, Tyson and Ethan Dyer; great-grandchildren, Koby, Koliee, Kaylee, Octabia, Grace Lori, Gaberial, River and Erik; siblings, Ethel Wall, Lester Dyer (Mildred), Melissa Regular (Eldred), Ben Dyer (Eva), Pearl Regular (Claude), Henry Dyer (Patsy), Victor Dyer (Mary), Effie Drover (Michael), Willard Dyer (Kathleen Critch), Raymond Dyer (Diane Rafter), Lewis Dyer (Marguerite) and Cordella Dyer (Loyla Matthews); sister-in-law, Barbara Newbury; special homecare workers, Sharon Bath, Denise Budgell and Joan May, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Beulah is predeceased by her husband, Ford Dyer; son, Clarence Dyer; parents, Aubrey and Olive Dyer; brother, Welton Dyer; parents-in-law, Leander and Ethel Dyer; brothers-in-law, Harvey Blanchard, Frederick Dyer, Derrick Wall, Woodrow Newbury and Dorman Ryan; sisters-in-law, Sharon Dyer, Marjorie Ryan and Mary Dyer; nieces, Marlene Morgan and Norma Domalian; nephew, Terry Taylor.
Public visitations will take place from Zion United Church, La Scie, NL on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
The funeral service will take place from Zion United Church, La Scie, NL on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 1 pm, with Reverend Harry Oake officiating. Interment will follow from Zion United Cemetery, La Scie, NL.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Beulah's memory to Zion United Church "Cemetery Fund" P.O. Box 217, La Scie, NL A0K 3M0.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
