The Young family announces the passing of Bernice Mary Olive Young, age 80, of Sunnyside, who peacefully left us on August 6, 2026, at G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, NL

She is preceded by her parents Reginal and Evelyn King and brother Cecil.

Bernice will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Stewart, and her children: Kent and Dezerine, Lola and Byron, and Amy and Chris; her sisters Ann (Winston), Ruby (Val), Carol (Chris), and Julie; her brother Munore, and a circle of family and friends.

Public visitation will take place at Faith Pentecostal Church, Burlington on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM

The funeral service will be held at Faith Pentecostal Church in Burlington on Wednesday, August 12th at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Riverside United Church Cemetery in Burlington, NL
