It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Baxter Osmond passed peacefully away with his loved ones by his side on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at the age of 88.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories his wife of 59 year's Muriel, children Orren(Cindy), Everett (Lana); Daughter in law Tracy; Grandchildren Erica, Ryan (Kristin), Alex(Camille), Emma Jane(Tim), Rebecca (Andrew) and Jade; Great grandchildren who he adored Rihanna, Ranay, Lillie, Rylan, and Gracie; Sister Miriam and brother Pasco.

Baxter was predeceased by his Son Orville; parents Olive and Eli; Mother and Father in law Emma and Moses.

Baxter was a kind and gentle man. He loved his family, the outdoors and his cats.
The family would like to thank staff and residents of  Providential Living for great care given to him during his stay. Special thanks to Jackie Rogers (niece) for her care and Tracy for all that she did for him. Also thanks to all staff and Dr Nakkar for the exceptional care during his final days.
Flowers are greatly accepted.

Public visitation will take place at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, June 29th, 2025 from 10:00AM - 1:30PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00PM with Major Laverne Fudge officiating.
