It is with great sadness that the family of the late Austin Shawn Small announces his passing at his home in Toronto, ON after a lengthy illness on August 10, 2022 at the age of 58 years.

Left with many special memories is his step-mother, Maxine Small; brother, Ivan Small; sisters, Marsha Richards (Dwayne) and Melanie Small; nieces and nephews, Stephen Small (Lori), Janet Small (David), Brendan Richards and Aiden Richards, as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

Austin is predeceased by his mother, Jean (Simms) Small; father, Harold Small; brother, Carson Small.

A private family funeral service took place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 2:30pm. Interment followed from Trinity Pentecostal Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Austin's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Newfoundland and Labrador Division, 70 Ropewalk Ln, St. John's, NL A1B 3R9.
