It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Arthur Alfred Gavin announces his tragic passing. Arthur passed away suddenly at his home in Seal Cove, NL on Friday June 20th 2025 at the age of 67 years.

The 5th child born to Mary (Pinksen) and Herbert Gavin
Art would be described as a happy go lucky, a very happy and honest man. Down through the years he had years of hardship and never once wavered from his faith in god
Art met every situation with dry humour that although not funny, the whole room would be laughing by the time he was done. That's who he was, he loved to make others laugh.

He is survived by wife Sharon (Mesher) , his son Marcus, and 2 daughters Jessica and Jillian, 2 grandsons, Charlie and Jack.
Siblings George, Elvie (Ray), Wallace (Diane), Allen (Joyce), Ella (Eddie), Junior (Debbie), Lorna (Paul), Millicent (Don), Sophie (Tim)
As well as in Laws John (Evangeline), Bernadette (Ed), Janet (Byce), and Scott. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.

Arthur is predeceased by his dad Herbert and mom Mary; Granddaughter, Allison Gavin; Sister Tracey, brother Andrew and baby sister Elizabeth. His first born Amy, and Brother in laws Donald Newman and Mike Madden.

Public visitation will take place at St. Swithin's Anglican Church, Seal Cove, NL on Sunday June 29th 2025, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Funeral Service will take place at St. Swithin's Anglican Church, Seal Cove, NL on Monday June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating.

The family would like to express a huge thank you to the community of Seal Cove and surrounding areas. The Fire Fighters and Medical team.
