It is with great sadness that the family of the late Archibald George Allen announces his passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 66 years.

Born in Channel-Port aux Basques, NL, he was the son of the late Archibald & Sylvia Allen.

Archibald leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children, Douglas (Annette), Loretta (Alvin); grandchildren, Chelsi (Austin), Patrick (Brittany); great-grandson, Aedan; special grandchildren, Laci, Aubree, Jack; brothers, Lou (Laura), Hubert (Tina), Parker (Jennifer), Draper (Stephanie); sisters, Valsey (Dave) Lane, Vicky, Debbie, Wendy (Henry) Ashford, Sylvia (Dale); brothers-in-law, George Young, Shayne Gaudet; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends & extended family.

Along with his parents, Archibald is predeceased by his sister, Annie Young & brother, Douglas.

Archie was born to Archibald & Sylvia Allen on August 11, 1957. He grew up in Channel-Port aux Basques, NL, then he moved to Grand Falls-Windsor, NL and raised a family of his own, which he loved very much. He always worked hard to provide for is family to make sure his children had everything they needed in life, and to make sure his children had lots of memories with him while they grew up. HE was a very kind and loving man who would do anything for his family, as they were the most important thing to him. Archie worked at many jobs over the years, whatever it took to provide for the family. He will be forever missed and loved by all who knew him in life.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.

There will be a gathering for family & friends on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 1-2 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL with burial following at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Cemetery, Caribou Road, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
