It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Anastasia Marie "Stache" Philpott announces her passing. Anastasia passed away suddenly at the White Bay Retirement Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, July 15th, 2020 at the age of 83 years.
Predeceased by her husband – Bartholomew (Bert) Philpott; infant children – Barry & Benita Philpott; common-law spouse – Aloysius (Wish) Barrett; parents – Nicholas & Margaret Kennedy; siblings – Jack Kennedy, Gertie Hurley (John), Joseph Kennedy (Mary), Frank Kennedy, Elizabeth (Bess) Bryan (Andrew) and Mary Lefresene (George); parents-in-law – James & Elizabeth Philpott; siblings-in-law – Humphrey Power, Clotilda Philpott and Fred Drover and niece – Margaret Bryan.
Left with many fond and loving memoires are her siblings – Jim Kennedy, Nick Kennedy (Theresa) and Catherine (Kit) Power; niece – Rosie Walsh, whom she introduced as her daughter; siblings-in-law – Jimmy Philpott (Kathleen), Aiden Philpott (Marion), Ambrose Philpott, Stella Drover, Myrtle Kennedy, Mary Margaret Kennedy as well as the Barrett family, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and the staff at White Bay Retirement Centre, Baie Verte, NL
Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the Public Health Advisory and associated restrictions, we regret to announce that there will be no Public Visitation. Father Camillus Ekedobe conducted a Private Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Coachman's Cove, NL.
We encourage extended family and friends to share condolences, memories and/or photos to Anastasia's memorial wall, available on our website. All items will be documented and displayed in our personalized guestbook and presented to the Philpott family.
