It is with great sadness that the family of the late Amanda Elizabeth Jacobs announces her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Long Term Care Centre, Baie Verte, NL on January 31, 2025 at the age of 43 years.

Amanda was born on April 20, 1981 and grew up in Westport. She was a beautiful woman inside and out with the most infectious laugh and smile. She was a friend to everyone and she had a deep love for her family and friends. Amanda loved to listen to country music and her favourite past time was playing bingo with her friends.

We will all miss her very much and take comfort in knowing that a part of her is in each and everyone of us.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories.

Predeceased and reunited into the arms of her parents in heaven, Shirley and Gerald Jacobs; brother-in-law, Barry Ricketts.

Left with beautiful and loving memories are her siblings, Debbie Jacobs (Frazer), Fort McMurray, AB; Cyril Jacobs (Mary), Westport NL; Ada Ricketts (Roger), Peace River, AB, Chris Jacobs (Carolyn), Westport, NL; Roy Jacobs (April), Westport, NL; Her very close niece and friend, Jenny Watson (Chad); special relative, Viola Gray; nieces and nephews; Alma Philpott (Sheldon), Jeffrey Jacobs (Rachel), Tyler Jacobs (Amy), Neil Jacobs, Bruce Jacobs (Candice), Chelsea Jacobs (Jamie), Jonathon (Krystine), Katie Jacobs (Heidi), Hayley Wells, Suzanne Ricketts (Benny), Alexander Jacobs Rachel), many great nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. A very special thank-you to all the staff at the Long-Term Care Unit at the Baie Verte Peninsula Heath Care Hospital.

Visitation for family and close friends will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL, from  2:00pm - 4:00pm.

The funeral service will take place from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Wesport, NL, on Monday, February 3, 2025  at 1:00pm with Reverend Nancy Hulan officiating.
