It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alonzo Gilbert Osborne announces his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre in Baie Verte NL, Aged 89 years.

Left with a lifetime of precious memories is his wife of 62 years, Loretta Osborne, children: Rennie Osborne (Laurie), Perry Osborne (Arlene), and Helen Osborne Linseisen (Marty); his grandchildren: Jacob Osborne, Jasmine Osborne Hoskins (Damien), Ryan Osborne, Erik Linseisen and Anders Linseisen. Great grandchild: Lilith Hoskins. His siblings: Warrick (Greta) Osborne, and Hubert (Marion) Osborne.  As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Alonzo was predeceased by his grandparents Josiah and Helen Osborne (known as mom and dad); parents Margaret and Pearce Osborne; Grandchildren Danelle Osborne and Victoria Osborne; siblings (spouse): Garland (Neta) Osborne, Victor (Pearl) Osborne, Laura (Cecil) Osborne and Ethel (James) Pinksen. Parents-in-law Adolphus and Esther Osborne.

Public visitation will take place from St. Swithin's  Anglican Church, Seal Cove, White Bay NL on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.

The funeral service will take place from St. Swithin's Anglican Church, Seal Cove, White Bay NL on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 2 pm, with Reverend Nancy Hulan officiating. Interment will follow from St. Swithin's Anglican Cemetery, Seal Cove, White Bay, NL.

The family would like to express great thanks to his family doctor Dr. Shanda Slipp, the staff at the Health Sciences Center, Western Memorial Regional Hospital and Baie Verte Peninsula Health Center.
