Obituary

Passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls Windsor, NL, Alma Pearl Warren, aged 83 years. Pearl was born to Myrtle and Harvey Watton of Bishop's Falls, NL, on September 30, 1940. She married her lifelong husband, Milton Warren, in 1962 and they eventually made their home in Grand Falls Windsor, where they lived, worked and raised their family.

Pearl leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband, Milton; sons, Andrew (Sylvia), Allan (Trudy); daughter, Annette (Mark) Brophy; grandchildren, Claire, Jane, Simon, Sara, & Brenden; sisters, Shirley (Dave) Ruttgaizer & Barbara Ivany; sisters-in-law, Barbara, Helen & Ivy Watton; as well as a great number of nieces, nephews, relatives, & friends.

Pearl is predeceased by her parents, Harvey & Myrtle Watton; granddaughter, Brittney Boostrom; brothers, Rex, Roy, & Everett; brother-in-law, Herbert Ivany.

The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during this time of bereavement, as well as the wonderful care provided to Pearl by the dedicated and capable staff at the Carmelite House and Renal Dialysis unit at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre.

The public visitation will take place Monday, November 27, 2023 at 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 1:30 PM from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel, 27 Park Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Caribou Road, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
