It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Alma Blanchard announces her passing. Alma passed away peacefully at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, St. John's, NL on Thursday, May 20th, 2021 at the age of 76 years.

Alma is predeceased by her mother - Clara Blanchard; common-law husband - Lawerence Haas; son - Leonard Blanchard; brothers - Hayward Blanchard, Harvey Blanchard and Daisy Kerfont.

Left to cherish many wonderful memories is her son - Stephen Blanchard (Lisa); grandchildren - Rebecca, Nicholas and Dylan; sister - Nina Davis (Eric) and nephew - Ryan Davis as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Public Visitation will take place from The Salvation Army Citadel, La Scie, NL on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021 from 7:00-9:00PM, following specific guidelines pertaining to the global pandemic and associated restrictions.

Captain Kay Barnes will conduct a Private Family Funeral Service at The Salvation Army Citadel, La Scie NL on Monday, May 24th, 2021 at 1:00PM. Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, La Scie, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alma's memory to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, C/O The Salvation Army Citadel, P.O. Box 54, La Scie, NL.
