It's with broken hearts that the family of the late Agnes Beatrice (Jacobs) Hewitt announces her passing. Agnes passed peacefully away with her loving family by her side at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, October 4th, 2021 at the age of 90 years.

Agnes was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was loved greatly by all of her family. She loved the Church and was an active member of the ACW for over 70 years. She loved to knit, sew and crochet. She made many quilts and knit many sweaters, socks, mitts, etc. for her family and many friends.

Agnes is predeceased by her husband – Douglas Hewitt; baby son – Thomas; parents – Ernest and Florence Jacobs; siblings – Raymond, Eric, Norman and Marjorie; siblings-in-law – Shirley and Ted.

Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters – Peggy Randell (Ken), Pansy Gale (Bruce), Sheila Throne (Richard); grandchildren – Andrea, Jennifer, Douglas (Sarah), Jeffery (Alexis), Scott (Laura) and Alexa (Paddy), great-grandchildren – Alycia, Allison, Ryan, Kristan, Henrey, Quinn, Mackenzie, Ethan, Hunter, Callie and Dexter; siblings – Dulcie, Allan (Elizabeth) and Hilda; her nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Public Visitation took place at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Westport, NL on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021 from 7:00-9:00PM, following specific guidelines pertaining to the global pandemic and associated restrictions.

Reverend George Critchell conducted a Private Family Funeral Service at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Westport, NL on Thursday, October 7th, 2021. Interment followed at St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Westport, NL

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Agnes' memory to St. Peter's Anglican Church, Westport, NL

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
