It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Adelaide Bowers announces her passing from the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the age of 74 years.

Left to cherish many wonderful memories are her daughter, Deanne Newbury (Ken); step-children, Sheila Bowers and Peter Bowers (Jackie); grandchildren, Chelsea Newbury (Andrew Cooper) and Ashley Newbury; step-grandchildren, Lucas Bowers, Emma Bowers, Cody Bowers and Chloe Bowers; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Dexter and Ace; siblings, Rita Gillingham, Mavis McPherson, Marjorie Burton (Clayton), Glendys Dyer (Calvin Patey), Golda Gillingham (Derrick), Ivan Norman (Lorna), Edgar Norman (Evelyn), Bud Norman (Clarice) and Ben Norman (Verna); siblings-in-law, Una Norman, Shirley Norman and Maxine Downey (Dennis), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Adelaide is predeceased by her husband, Munden Bowers; parents, Dexter and Rose Norman; siblings, Ray Norman (Daisy), Gerald Norman, Lloyd Norman and Gord Norman; siblings-in-law, Leslie Gillingham, Alphonsus McPherson and Minnie Norman.

A private family funeral service took place from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 11:00 am with Reverend Harry Oake officiating. Interment followed at Bethany United Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.
